I have a huge lemon tree in my front garden. It is truly beautiful. When it fruits it is an amazing abundance of wonderful lemons. I give so many away but there is still so many for me to use. These recipes are great ideas to do just that. I'm keen to try the lemon cheesecake with lavender crust. A great tip I learnt from watching the Kitchen is that you can freeze lemons whole. Something I never knew before and have started to do.

I like the Luscious Lemon Pie recipe since it would be quicker and easier to make than my sweet mama's lemon meringue pie. I think it would taste yummy in the graham cracker crust too and I would of course add a large dollop of whipped cream to each serving. I need to make this pie soon, lemon is always a favorite flavor in my house!
