These donuts are also very easy to make, and you won't have to worry about them taking up a lot time in the oven. They bake in just 12 minutes!

  • 1 (15.2-ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar for sprinkling donuts

Mini Baked Pumpkin Donuts Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Combine the cake mix, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and mini chocolate chips in the bowl of a stand mixer.

  2. Lightly coat 2 mini donut pans with cooking spray. Using a piping bag, pipe the batter in the mini donut crevices of the pan.

  3. Bake for about 12 minutes, until the donuts have puffed up.

  4. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Take the donuts out of the pan and roll in the sugar. Use more or less sugar depending on your preferences.

  5. Repeat until you’ve used the remaining batter. Serve.

Note: These will still be good to eat for a couple of days after baking, so store any leftovers in a sealed container to enjoy later!

More recipes need to combine pumpkin spice and chocolate because OMG. Also it's recipes like these that make me feel a little better about eating three doughnuts in one sitting. A little.

Every fall I get excited to make this recipe. I could eat a whole batch of these in one sitting - they're that good!!
