I like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for a snack. I will have to try this. I use a peanut butter that is all natural and has to be stirred. Will that type of peanut butter be ok to use? I would think any kind of smooth peanut butter would work. Do you have to add 1/2 cup brown sugar? Would that make it too sweet with the preserves? Can you substitute jelly or jam instead of the preserves?
