They are filled with ooey, gooey mozzarella cheese and caramelized onions. These are baked to a perfect golden brown and are studded with cheddar cheese. These are really nice bites of cheesy goodness. I really like the incorporation of cheddar into the batter. It adds an extra bit of flavor to the cheese and onion stuffing. I added a bit of garlic to the recipe since I love garlic and onion (and yes, I keep a bottle of mouthwash on hand for my wife's sake!) and it really tasted well. These are a great upgrade of regular dinner rolls.

These rolls look delicious! I would of never thought of making rolls like this even though I'm a massive cheese lover, I would eat it til it came out my ears! I am just wondering could you use a cheese of your liking or does it have to be the one in the recipe? One of my friends only eats goats cheese as a dietary requirement so I'm wondering could it be substituted with that?
