Between the pumpkin and sweet potato pie, I do not know which one is my favorite. My relative down south usually prepares the sweet potato and my relative from up north lean toward the pumpkin. I love them both and this is a quick and easy recipe. Now I can make my own.

The ingredients list is short and so are the steps in the directions so this is a keeper as far as I am concerned. The finished pie looks delicious and golden. If I make this, this will be my first attempt at a pumpkin pie.

Pumpkin pie is one of my favorite desserts and I love brown sugar so this is a win-win! This recipe has only 8 ingredients and a very fast prep time so it is perfect to make before company comes. This recipe calls for a store-bought crust, which is easy and delicious, but has anyone made their own crust and wants to share some tricks of the trade?!
