This recipe is very confusing for some people. A large can of V8 is larger than 12 ounces, is the large can of tomatoes 28 ounces and the cumin is 1 what?

1 what of cumin?

Hi all - For this recipe you'll need a regular size can of V-8, about 12 ounces. Hope this helps! -Editors of RecipeLion

So....no answer on the quantity of V8? I have an old church cookbook that calls for a bottle of 7-up in one recipe. I know that 7-up was 6 oz. back then, but someone not as old as me might put in 20 oz.

Am I the only one who hates when recipes call for "large can" of something? What is a "large can". Does this recipe want a 32 oz can of V-8? That sounds like a lot but that's the large can I know about. Or a large can of diced tomatoes. Frustrating.

I agree....it is like saying 1 onion or 1 tomatoe......The sizes differ so much. Why not just say 1 cup, etc etc etc
