Greek Turkey Burgers with Whipped Feta
These delicious turkey burgers are a summer delight. Light and healthier than your normal beef patty, these turkey burgers are topped with tomato, cucumber, and onion slices and whipped Feta cheese. You won't believe how much flavor these patties are able to achieve with such few ingredients. Lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper combine with ground turkey to make an unbelieveably bright and fresh-tasting patty you're sure to fall in love with after just one bite. Soak up that summer sun during a BBQ or backyard party while enjoying a great meal.

These are truly gourmet burgers and a fresher, healthier alternative to a juicy (i.e. fatty) beef burger. You'd be surprised how many guests will choose these over traditional hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill! This whipped feta sauce is unbelievable! If you put out some good, larger crackers, your guests will eat it as a dip, too. I made some of these turkey burgers assembled so they would know what they should be, and put the cucumber slices, red onion, and feta sauce on them on a brioche bun. I also made a watermelon, mango, pineapple, and jalapeno, and some other ingredients and spices for a salsa/relish for those that wanted to go that right. I combined two o f the relishes I found here and on mrfood.com.
