The Camp Chef Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet and Lid is the ultimate cookware set for cooking both indoors and outdoors. The 10" skillet comes pre-seasoned, so you can use it right out of the box. You can use this great pan for making eggs, searing meat, and much more!

Cast iron cookware is known for its versatility and ease of use. This skillet embodies both of these attributes and then some. Unlike most cast iron pans, this one does not need to be seasoned when you open the box. Camp Chef does all the work for you by pre-seasoning the pan, giving it non-stick properties.

This skillet has a few features that really make it stand out. I love that it has pouring spouts on either side. This way you can easily transfer sauces and other food from the skillet, and into another pot or onto a serving plate. Cast iron is known for having a heavier weight. That is why I love the inclusion of a helper handle opposite of the long handle. Carrying the pan with or without food, and dishing out food, is made much easier.

Camp Chef makes their skillets and lids in a variety of sizes, but I truly enjoyed using the 10" size. It is just the right size for making sauces, eggs, and many different meat recipes. The lid allows you to make steamed recipes, as well as casseroles over an open fire. It even has a slot for putting a thermometer so you can monitor your food without letting steam escape.

The low cost of this skillet set also makes it a great choice amongst the more expensive competition. While this skillet set is a perfect camping companion, it is also ideal for indoor use. You do not need to camp to enjoy using this wonderful skillet set.
