- 1 box wild rice mix, with herbs
- water (per rice instructions)
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 can cream of chicken and mushroom soup
- 3 chicken breasts, cut in half
- fried onions for topping
- chopped parsley for garnish
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13 casserole dish with cooking spray and set aside.
In a bowl, mix the rice and herb packets according to package directions.
Add french onion soup and cream of chicken and mushroom soup. Stir well to combine.
Pour the mixture in the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Nestle chicken pieces into the rice mixture. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes until the rice has absorbed the moisture and the chicken is cooked through.
Top with the fried onions and chopped parsley before serving.
