Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 2 cans creamed corn
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Beat eggs well in a large bowl. Add sugar, flour, melted butter, corn, milk, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Pour into a greased casserole dish and bake for 55-60 minutes until firm and cooked through.

I've never been a fan of corn but for some odd reason, I love using cream corn to enhance some of my recipes from time to time...it really does give it a little extra something. This is similar to cornbread in a custard kinda way, and I'm sure it's delicious as it is but I bet it would be so much more flavorful if you added some of your favorite diced chile peppers and cheese to it.

Hi just saw the recipe for Vintage Southern Corn Pudding. In the video it shows her putting Honey in the bowl, but in the ingredients it says sugar but doesn't say how much honey to use. Can you please let me know how she done it in the video please. wyantjoann@yahoo.com. I have not tried this YET.
