I've had spaetzle before and really liked it, so this recipe is definitely going on my must-make list. I love macaroni and cheese and this variation just looks incredibly delicious. It's a great side dish, but I think I might turn it into an entree by adding bacon or ground beef to the spaetzle layers. Thanks for posting this great version of mac and cheese.
