I love turtle candy. There was a candy factory not far from me when we were growing up and they made great turtle candies. We'd get several boxes of them each Christmas. This is a really nice recipe that captures perfectly the taste I remember. I might try making a batch with walnuts sometime, as well as adding a bit of salt to the caramel, rather than sprinkling salt on top of the chocolate.

These look so delicious and I love how easy they are to make! These would be great for a cookie exchange or to add to a cookie tray for friends and neighbours! You could sprinkle red and green sprinkles on top or even little toffee bits, or top with white chocolate for a variation. This taste combo can't be beat, and are sure to be a big hit! I love that they're easy enough for kids to help too.

Anything with only a few ingredients is right up my alley! These look awesome. Very tasty, easy to make, perfect as a gift or fun holiday snack. Any variations that other people have tried? I'd love to hear some new ideas!

These look so simple and delicious! This would be fun to make for a party!
