Do you stir the beans and hamburger together? And also, do you cover with foil to bake ?

We eat alot of beans and legumes and this looks delicious! A different take on baked beans, I love that there are so many beans in this recipe! I have an electric pressure cooker and would probably cook dry beans instead of canned. I would like to try this without the pork or ground beef to make it vegetarian. Sounds delicious!

This recipe has 4 different canned beans but no mention of the can sizes. Who writes ( doesn't proof) these recipes???

10-ounce cans are preferred. Apologies for the confusion. -Editors,

I love this recipe! I also add one polska kielbasa to give it a fancy frank n beans style recipe. I just slice it and cook it in the bacon fat along with the onions. D

This recipe is very similar to one I have used for years. A few hints to save money and ingredients; omit BBQ sauce and white sugar. Add Tbsp (or to taste) cider vinegar. That gives BBQ flavor without having to add the extra ingredients. Also works well with almost any bean ie., pinto, black, garbanzo, White Northern, Cannellini, etc. I even used green beans once. Great adaptable recipe. Lots of protein and kids love it.

added: l lb. ground chuck, less sugar. excellent.

Hi retired 0050253, Because most of our recipes are user submitted, they do not always come with the servings provided. If you make any of our recipes please let us know how it turned out and the number of servings you got and we can add that in! Thanks, Editors of RecipeLion

Could you please show the number of servings each recipe makes?

Thank you for bringing that error to our attention. The recipe calls for one-half of a pound of bacon. The recipe has been updated to reflect this. -RecipeLion Editors

your recipe did not say how much bacon. OR WAS THIS IN THE MENUE?
