- 1 unpeeled orange, cut into pieces
- 1 (12-ounce) package fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Place half the cranberries and half the orange pieces in food processor. Pulse until mixture is evenly chopped. Transfer to a medium sauce pan.
Repeat with remaining cranberries and orange slices. Stir in sugar and cinnamon.
Bring mixture to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer until mixture becomes a vibrant red and sugar is dissolved, about 15 minutes.
Transfer to a dish and cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
