The juices from a beef roast can be frozen until needed. Often I have extra juice and I freeze it in 1 cup containers. It comes in great for making gravy quickly for all kinds of easy weeknight meals for the family.
If you do not have any beef juice, you can certainly use beef broth, or use a couple of beef bullion cubes with water to get the beefy flavor. But, by all means, if you have flavorful juices, use them and freeze any left overs. Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 cups Beef Juice

Instructions

  1. Pour the juices from a cooked beef roast into a pan. Add a 3/4 of the cup of water. Heat on medium-high until boiling.

  2. While the juices are heating up, mix 2 TBL of flour with 1/4 Cup of water until the flour is thoroughly incorporated.

  3. Once the juices are boiling, slowly pour in the flour mixture stirring constantly. Boil for 2 minutes and turn off heat.
