So this is one of my go-to sandwich recipes to make. I prefer carrying them to work with me because i can warm the bacon and just pack everything in separate ziplock bags( a lot of work). I still cook my bacon on a pan but now i learned the oven method ill give it a try.

Surprisingly making bacon in the oven isn't messy at all...I actually thought the same thing Sharell. I just put it on parchment paper and although it isn't really necessary, I also put parchment over top of it as well. I'm not sure how I feel about cheese on a BLT Edmund, but I may be brave and give it a try. If you haven't already tried the avocado, you should...it really is delicious!

The weaving of the bacon strips was completely new to me, though I was familiar with using the oven to cook bacon. I'm also intrigued by the use of avocado. I wouldn't have thought of using that on a BLT. I would probably add a slice of cheese instead of the avocado just because it's a usual addition to my way of making a BLT.

I love BLT sandwiches. It is always messy to make with all the grease from the bacon. How do you keep it from not splattering in the oven? To me the oven is more of a chore to clean than the stove top. I will have to give this a try. It sounds so delicious.

I've just recently started making my bacon in the oven...it's a fool proof way to keep it flat. I love the weave method and definitely have to do it this way from now on. Bacon has never really been a big favorite of mine, but when it comes to BLT's there's nothing like it. Avocado is a nice addition too...I usually whip mine up together with a squeeze of lemon and use it as my mayo. It's so good!
