These baked ham and cheese sliders are also sometimes called "funeral sandwiches," but you can just call them delicious. Hawaiian Roll Baked Sandwiches are ham and Swiss cheese sandwiches on sweet Hawaiian rolls, baked in a mustard sauce. They only take about 20 minutes to make, start to finish, and they can be made a night ahead of time! The bite-sized sandwiches are the perfect easy appetizer recipe to serve at any party.

These Hawaiian Roll Baked Sandwiches are just what I was looking for to serve for a lunch I'm having with my crocheting girlfriends. They can be made ahead of time, and I think serving them with a nice salad will be perfect. Who doesn't love a delicious ham and cheese sandwich? Definitely a crown pleaser.

These look incredible! I love ham and cheese sandwiches and these are perfect for putting together for a potluck. I might make half with swiss cheese and half with cheddar, since that cheese goes well with ham too. I like dijon mustard, and I'm wondering about possibly using some stone ground brown mustard instead. I guess I'll just have to try it both ways and see how they taste.

Mmmmmmmmmmm, Hawaiian rolls! We love them any time of year. I think these will make great appetizer sandwiches for a graduation party. We will use ham and Swiss cheese. I can't wait to make them. Thanks for the great recipe that will gets lots of use in my home.

I made these when I had company over a couple weeks ago, and I got so many compliments on it!

These look so yummy!!! I might make these for the Superbowl this weekend. I love ham but not so much after Easter...we have too much left over and it gets thrown out. My husband prefers roast beef so maybe I could try these with roast beef and cheddar. Do you think the sauce would still be ok on that combination? Also, are any other brand of Hawaiian rolls as sweet as the Hawaiian? My store doesn't always have them in stock.

These rolls look fantastic! No leftover even the recipe was tripled, is the sign that they taste as fantastic as they look. I will try to make these rolls. They will be great to take to the next potluck party at my kids' school. The kids will love them! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Im a kamaaina (longtime resident of Hawaii). If funeral sounds weird, these just arent foods to take to someones house. Most ALL funerals have huge buffets. I think the Filipino and Chinese funerals are no ka oi (the best.) Many people go to the big funeral homes to eat. Just wear aloha attire (Nice Hawaiian shirts or shifts) and enjoy. Might sound weird, its not!

It sounds pretty delightful to me! I come from a big family in New England. So, yeah, we probably do the "at the house" thing. . . a lot. But this is the kind of thing that would be sitting on the table just waiting for someone to bring their appetite.

These sandwiches would be perfect to make for my next football party.

These are so great! My cousin made these for our family Christmas party and they were a hit. The sauce makes these sandwiches stand out.

Yum! These sound delicious. Baked sliders like these have such a great texture coming out of the oven, and the sauce for this recipe sounds tangy and fabulous.
