  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon crushed dried-leaf oregano
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (1 oz.)
  • chopped parsley for garnish

Serves 4.. Clean and devein shrimp or prawns, removing shells but leaving shells on tails intact. Refrigerate. Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add yellow onion, green onions and garlic. Saute until onions are tender. Add tomatoes, wine, 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, oregano, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat 30 minutes or until sauce thickens. Preheat oven to 350F (175C). I love shrimp but I get so bored using the same recipes over and over this is a pleasant surprise, as I've been craving shrimp recently. Does cooking wine have the same results of dry white wine? And do you know the difference between the two, I've never cooked with an actual drinking wine before?

Hi 5dawn5 - I apologize for the missing quantities. They've been added in now. Also, people share comments reviews as they wish. So, you're the first Thanks! Editor,

1. what is the actual amounts of the olive oil and the wine? all you have is "<". 2. Where can i find other people's comments and reviews of this recipe?
