Grandma's Famous 3 Layer Jello Mold

If you loved the jello dessert your grandma used to bring to family get-togethers, here's a version you can make for your own family. Follow this easy recipe for Grandma's Famous 3 Layer Jello Mold and make a deliciously fruity dessert everyone will love. With three different flavors of jello and a tub of Cool Whip in the mix, this jello dessert recipe is triply delicious. Light and luscious and sure to leave you wanting a second helping, this old-fashioned jello mold recipe is a must-make.

Chilling Time2 hr


  • 1 box cherry Jello
  • 1 box orange Jello
  • 1 box lime Jello
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened and divided into thirds
  • 1 (8-ounce) container Cool Whip
  • 3 cups water


  1. Boil water.
  2. Empty cherry Jello package, 1/3 of cream cheese and one cup of boiling water into blender. Mix well and pour into bowl; chill until Jello is slightly set.
  3. Repeat the process for the orange and lime Jellos.
  4. Remove all Jellos from refrigerator and divide Cool Whip evenly between the 3 bowls. Mix with hand mixer until well blended.
  5. Spray Jello mold lightly with cooking spray; pour cherry, orange and lime mixture to form 3 layers.
  6. Chill in refrigerator 2 hours or until set.
