Ingredients

  • 1 pound Uncooked Shrimp
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 Small Onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke Hickory
  • 1/2 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 small Jalapeno Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayene Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  1. Using a blender or immersion blender, combine marinade ingredients. Transfer 1/3 of the marinade to a bowl with the raw shrimp. Set remaining marinade aside. Marinate shrimp for 15 minutes at room temperature.

  2. Empty marinated shrimp and its juices into a large heavy bottomed skillet. Cook over medium-high heat for 3 minutes. Remove shrimp from skillet and keep warm. TIP: A little undercooked is fine because you will be cooking longer with the vegetables.
