Hot Layered Taco Dip

This crowd-pleasing appetizer from Campbell's is just what you need if you're serving a big group. Everyone will love the ground beef flavored with picante sauce and layered with refried beans and cheese. Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Picante Sauce
  • 1 can (about 15 ounces) refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4 ounces)
  • tomato, chopped
  • lettuce, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until it's well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat. Stir the picante sauce in the skillet and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.

  3. Spread the beans on the bottom of a 2-quart shallow baking dish. Top with the beef mixture and sprinkle with the cheese.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Top with the tomato and lettuce, if desired.
