I am a big cheese lover. My favorite dip is Velveeta cheese, Rotel tomatoes, and sausage.

My all-time favorite dips are the Velveeta cheese, Rotel tomatoes and sausage dip, and beer cheese dip! I love them...my waistline, not so much...(

taco dip

I just made a hot artichoke and cheese dip and it is my new favorite. It is so simple artichokes, parmesan cheese, chopped onion, sour cream and a bit of lemon and voila!

A very nice dish but, in my opinion, it is missing 2 vital ingredients - garlic and chili. The first time we made it it was kind of ok but not really worth having again. However we decided to try again with some fresh garlic and chili and WOW! A completely different dish which had our guests hovering around it until there was absolutel y none left. Winner!

Beans? Not in ingredients list

Hello! The recipe has been updated. You can mix in 1 cup of black beans. Thanks for letting us know, and enjoy the recipe! -Kristin, Editor for RecipeLion.com

Wow, this dip looks amazing. And it has all my favorite ingredients! I can't wait to make this recipe at my next get-together.

the instructions said to mix the beans with a few other listed ingredients but under the list of ingredients there is no mentions of beans, what kind, etc.

sounds delicious. Christmas is comin' all you buckaroos

Hi-- Which size of cream cheese? 8 oz? 3oz? Thanks

We've changed the recipe to answer your question. It's actually just one 6oz package!

This looks delightfully yummy and I'm sure would be a big hit around our house. I'm curious as to why the amount of black beans was omitted from the list of ingredients. From the video it looks like it could be two cans and that's what I would use. I prefer using black beans in my Mexican cooking (probably because of having more than my share of black bean and corn salsa over the years), and I'd exchange the turkey sausage for some nice chorizo.

This recipe looks like one that will come together quickly for family and friends at get togethers over the summer. I too am wondering though what type of beans should be used and how many? I'm thinking probably one can of either black beans or kidney beans. I like either and I'll definitely be making this one. I love a quick recipe that tastes yummy!

Please provide what kind of beans use for this buckaroo snack dip. I can't wait to try this recipe. Thanks ....Gee

The directions lists beans but the ingredients doesn't. What kind of beans and how much? Thanks!

This dip was delicious. All of the ingredients came together to create one amazing recipe!

A truly delicious dip. Our drinks party guests over the weekend leapt upon this dip and it was finished before anything else! We did add a little chopped fresh chili and the very slightest pinch of cayenne pepper but otherwise we followed the recipe exactly as shown. On nachos it was very tasty indeed and we would definitely have it again and again.

I like that turkey sausage is used here - it is much lower in fat and calories than pork sausage, yet is much more flavorful than plain ground turkey. I might go a step further and use the reduced fat cream cheese, also known as Neufchatel. It might be fun to make individual appetizers with this dip - load it up inside halved jalapenos or halved roma tomatoes with the seeds removed and then bake.
