I frequently put fruit in my lettuce or spinach based salads, but I don't think I have ever tried adding fruit to a pasta salad before. It looks so pretty, I think I will give it a try! This could probably be made a little in advance, with the exception of the avocado. I would add that in and toss it just before serving to avoid discoloration.

This Strawberry Avocado Pasta Salad is the perfect summer salad. It is sweet and savory, tangy with hints of citrus. I love the combination of subtle flavors that combine perfectly without any one flavor overpowering the others. The small amount of olive oil and lemon juice is just enough to dress it without soaking it. This is such an easy salad to make, and it holds up well to outdoor summer parties.

What an interesting summery pasta salad. Avocado is such a versatile recipe but be careful of the shelf life of this dish. I would only make as much as you need since the avocado may turn brown if there are any leftovers! Perhaps, the lemon juice will slow this process but eventually, it will still occur. I would choose goat cheese instead of feta since goat cheese and strawberries are a fabulous duo!

Strawberry and avocado in a salad sounds nice. I have never tried that combination. I know feta cheese goes well with sweet fruits. Personally I like to eat feta cheese with watermelon so I am very keen to try this salad. It looks delish! The whole concept of adding this to pasta is intriguing as well. I think these are great ideas.
