Cold and Creamy Pasta Salad

You won't want to forget to pack this side for your next picnic. It will be love at first bite with this creamy pasta salad recipe. Cold and Creamy Pasta Salad has a variety of crunchy vegetables and a sauce that includes mayonnaise, cheese and a variety of spices blended until smooth. All you have to do is throw all the ingredients in a bowl, give it a good mix, and let it chill until you're ready to enjoy it. And boy, will you enjoy it!


  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 2 pounds tricolored rotini
  • 1 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, granulated
  • 3 tablespoons all purpose seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise


  1. To make dressing, mix canola oil, pepper, red-wine vinegar, oregano, basil, garlic, all purpose seasoning, cheese and mayonnaise in blender container and blend until smooth; set aside.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water.
  3. Fold together pasta and vegetables. Fold in dressing. Garnish with additional Romano, if desired.
