4 Ingredient Cake Mix Mini Cakes

You only need 4 ingredients to make one of the easiest, and tastiest, cupcake recipes in our collection. 4 Ingredient Cake Mix Mini Cakes have everything you want in your cupcake recipe. Light and fluffy, they are stuffed with a cream cheese filling, and topped with Cool Whip and a maraschino cherry to give it that fruity flavor that we absolutely adore. A great treat to bring to a family potluck and as a contribution to the dessert table, you'll want to make extra of these fruity mini cakes.


  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 can (21 -ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • cool whip for topping (optional)
  • maraschino cherries for topping (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners or spray with cooking spray.

  3. Run cake mix, cherry pie filling and eggs through a food processor or blender.

  4. Fill cupcake liners or pan 3/4 full with batter.

  5. Cut cream cheese into 24 pieces.

  6. Gently place a piece of cream cheese on top of the batter.

  7. Bake for 22-24 minutes.

  8. Cool completely on wire rack.

  9. If you like, you can top your cupcakes with whipped cream and a Maraschino cherry.

is this recipe for the mini cupcakes?

This recipe makes regular cupcakes, not mini cupcakes.

My favorites are white cake and cheery pie so i'm probably going to gain some lbs!! This will be worth it!!!
