- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 can (21 -ounces) cherry pie filling
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- cool whip for topping (optional)
- maraschino cherries for topping (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners or spray with cooking spray.
Run cake mix, cherry pie filling and eggs through a food processor or blender.
Fill cupcake liners or pan 3/4 full with batter.
Cut cream cheese into 24 pieces.
Gently place a piece of cream cheese on top of the batter.
Bake for 22-24 minutes.
Cool completely on wire rack.
If you like, you can top your cupcakes with whipped cream and a Maraschino cherry.
