I had a 10 lb pork butt/shoulder and used these seasonings and slow cooked it in the oven at 250 degrees for 5.5 hours. Delicious! Tender! No gamey pork taste when I cook it in a crock pot, or imagine I taste it. lol Anyway, slow cooked in the oven makes a crust on the top and you can see I cut it criss-cross with the fat side up to bath it in it's juices and make it tender. Cooking it slow on low heat breaks down the connective tissue and makes all the difference in the world! I shred this up and put it in small quantities in the freezer, so it's ready for toasted subs with caramelized onions or soft corn tortilla tacos with cilantro, lime, jalapeno, and queso fresco!
