I just bought a baby butternut squash just because it looks cute. LOL. Now I wonder how to cook it. I was glad to find this recipe but oops, it requires a slow cooker and I dont have it. Ill browse again, Im sure this squash can be baked, right?

Squash cooked in a crock pot!?!? This has been life changing for me. You can put it in your slow cooker in the morning and come dinner, you will have the most delicious squash you've ever had. I like to make up a big squash and then portion it into smaller containers and freeze it for later use. It comes in so handy on those nights you don't feel like cooking. I am looking forward to trying this with different kinds of squash and seeing how they turn out.

Will this work with acorn squash?
