Low Fat Italian Oven Fried Chicken

It's so nice to have a super-easy, super-tasty dish you can make any time. Get your marinade going tonight and stick the chicken in the fridge, then all you have to do tomorrow is bread and cook it. Now that's an easy fried chicken recipe!

Cooking Time1 hr


  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup low-fat ranch style dressing
  • 2 heaping teaspoons of minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • non-stick cooking spray


  1. Combine dressing, garlic, salt and pepper; mix well.
  2. Marinate chicken breast in the dressing mixture 4 hours to as long as overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  4. Mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese together. Set aside.
  5. Coat pan with a non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Remove chicken from marinade and coat each piece with bread mixture. Spray both sides with non-stick cooking spray.
  7. Arrange breasts in pan. Bake until done, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
