These chicken crescent roll ups are the ultimate weeknight dinner. It's a meal that is sure to have everyone running to the table... while you marvel at how easy it was to make! We love easy dinner recipes like this one. All you have to do is combine a few simple ingredients, including plenty of Cheddar cheese, in store bought crescent roll dough, and you will have a delicious dinner in only thirty minutes.

These chicken crescent roll ups are true crowd pleasers. There's something about the flaky pastry dough, creamy chicken filling, and gooey Cheddar cheese that just makes them irresistible. Serve this yummy main course alongside a vegetable like steamed broccoli or a fresh salad, and you can call dinner "done!"

  • 4 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

Chicken Crescent Roll Ups


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine milk, soup, and cheese.

  3. In a small bowl combine salt, pepper and oregano.

  4. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles.

  5. Place one chicken breast in the center of each rectangle. Season with salt, pepper and oregano.

  6. Top each with 1 tablespoon of the soup mixture.

  7. Join together all four corners of the crescents to the center. Pinch together to form a pouch.

  8. Spread ½ cup of the soup mixture along the bottom of the greased baking dish.

  9. Place the stuffed rolls in the dish and pour the remaining soup mixture over the crescent rolls.

  10. Top with cheese.

  11. Bake for 30 minutes.

I notice crescent rolls are the most popular kind of bread used in cooking. This chicken crescent roll looks so yummy. It reminds me of chicken turnovers. It look easy to make, good for snacks and food to bring to school.

Lucky me, I just bought crescent rolls and chicken breasts yesterday! I already have the cheese and soup on hand, too. Guess I'll be making this easy dish next week. I love easy, inexpensive, but filling, weeknight dinners. Thank goodness for crescent rolls!
