For a healthier version, I would use lean ground beef, lite cream cheese, lite sour cream, low fat cottage cheese, and reduced fat cheddar cheese. Whenever cooking pasta that will later be baked, it is important to drain the pasta when it is still underdone. This is to ensure that it will be a good consistency after it bakes in the oven.
