I love this bread! I wanted to find a recipe that I could use for as a substitute for store bought sandwich bread, and this is it! Everyone loved it! We used this for everything from chicken salad sandwiches to quick french toast. Not to mention the pieces we ate plain when it was still warm. It is so good! Toast it up and add some homemade strawberry jam, it's heavenly! This is the only bread I will make from now on. No more store bought stuff for me!

I have have been making this recipe without fail for about a month, we tried it with 2 cups whole wheat flour and it was delicious. Now we go half and half with whole wheat and white flour.

any ideal what it takes to make a larger loaf this looks to be a small loaf bread machine, mine makes 2 - 2/12

If you have a larger bread machine, you could try doubling the recipe.

This is absolutely delicious! Best bread machine bread I have tried. I cut back the sugar to 3 tsp and added 1 1/2 tsp salt. I found the first loaf was a bit dark so I set my machine to light the second time I made it and it came out just right. Very light and fluffy.
