Spicy Mac and Beef is a simple, tasty twist on the mac and cheese we all know and love. It's hard to make something more purely "comfort food" than this. It's easy to prepare and perfect for the whole family. Kids will love the taste, and if straight mac and cheese just isn't enough for adults, this meal will make sure everyone at the table is satisfied. Who needs fancy, complicated meals when a 6-ingredient recipe like this can already turn you into the most-loved chef on the block?

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (10-1/2-ounce) can Campbell’s® Condensed Beef Broth
  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 2 cups uncooked medium shell shaped pasta
  • 1 (10-1/2-ounce) can Campbell’s® Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 1 cup Pace® Picante Sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.

  2. Stir the broth and water in the skillet and heat to a boil. Stir in the pasta. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender, stirring often.

  3. Stir in the soup and picante sauce and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.

Recipe Tips:

Serve with corn muffins and steamed broccoli flowerets. For dessert, serve vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and chopped walnuts.
