In Italian cuisine, it is not uncommon to see a cream based sauce and a tomato based sauce in a dish together. I sometimes make a lasagna with separate layers of cream sauce and tomato sauce. I have never heard of this zesty spaghetti packet seasoning - what spice flavors are in it so that I could make my own? This looks very filling and satisfying!

Not only was the hubby happy but everyone else in the family too, lol! It is also easy enough to make for a mid week meal after a long work day which is also really important to me. We do not get dry spaghetti sauce mix here in South Africa so I had to be a little inventive but it worked really well. The only change I made was to layer the pasta, meat and cheese in thirds ending with a cheese layer on top. Delicious!

This recipe looks really delicious and easy to make! Pasta and ground beef always make a yummy casserole, and all that cheese sounds amazing!!! This would be great to serve at a party or potluck and I bet it tastes even better the next day! I love recipes that can be made ahead and warmed up quickly the next day during the week. It can be challenging to cook for your family on busy weeknights, but these types of recipes are a life-saver!!

This noodle recipe will make my whole family happy. We like any dinners that involve pasta, cheese, or spaghetti sauce. This recipe sounds like such a hearty meal that will be great served with salad and bread, probably garlic bread. I wonder why it contains two types of spaghetti sauce?

This recipe would definitely make this hubby happy. I'm a sucker for almost anything involving beef and noodles and this odd combination of lasagna and stroganoff sounds positively delicious. We usually have most of the ingredients around the house, and I'm looking forward to giving this try, especially for any potlucks that might arise. For personal use, we might try halving the recipe since it's just the two of us right now.

My husband will definitely love this recipe. All his favorites including spaghetti sauce, hamburger and cheese, cheese, cheese. Love the addition of sour cream to make it extra special. Need to make it this week when our brother in law is here to please to folks at one time. )

As another person posted, this may become my husbands favorite dinner. It sounds really easy to prepare, not to mention I almost always have all the ingredients on hand, and will be filling enough to keep him satisfied! It has all his favorites the only thing that could make this better is to somehow use steak!

Oh I think my hubby would surely love this recipe, it has all of his favorites in it, beef, cheese, and pasta. I have a friend who makes something similar with lasagna noodles and calls it lazy lasagna only she adds a layer of cottage cheese with her pasta sauce.

The Happy Hubby Ground Beef Casserole is a must try. I love ground beef and noodles and this sounds wonderful. I sounds like it is easy to put together and does not take much time. Sounds good for a cooler day and maybe serve with a nice salad. Will definitely make this in the next week.

It looks good, but I don't understand the amounts. How much is a half a bag of noodles? Different brands, different sizes. Also on the cheeses, is the amount in the parenthesis the amount I need to use or the size of the bag that I am supposed to only use half of? How big a bottle of Ragu?
