You put peas in your goulash? I don't think my mom, grandma, or mother-in-law ever used peas in their recipes, but it sounds really good. I like peas a lot, so this fits in perfect with my tastes. I am going to have to try this version out and see if I like it as much as I think I am going to like it.

I love recipes that can be made in one pot, such as this goulash. To change this recipe just a bit would be to not include the macaroni but serve this over boiled potatoes or steamed rice.
