If you want to know how to make a restaurant-quality patty melt, look no further than this Best Patty Melt Recipe. It has all of the best ingredients: a thin beef patty, Worcestershire Sauce, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, and caramelized onions. Make sure the griddle is extra hot before you start cooking the patties. Serve these easy patty melts on rye or pumpernickel bread to give them that classic diner taste. These delicious sandwiches might even replace the standard burger on your family's hamburger night!

This would be a good recipe to try when you are craving a burger, but want something that is a little bit different or don't have any hamburger buns, but you have slices of bread instead. For a healthier version of this recipe, I would use lean ground beef or ground turkey, low sodium Worcestershire sauce, turkey bacon, and light mayonnaise. The family should enjoy having this for dinner.

This is such a delicious recipe. It really does remind you of a diner meal. This is great for a weeknight dinner. I used all rye bread, because that is all I had on hand. It turned out so good. The whole family loved this. I used swiss cheese for mine, but my husband used pepper jack. He said it was really good with that. I think this would be delicious with any cheese you choose.
