- 2 lb. round steak, cut in bite-size cubes
- Seasoned flour
- Hot oil
- 2 cup. water
- 1 sm. onion
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. curry powder
- 2 cup. unsweetened coconut milk
- Salt to taste
Dredge steak pieces in seasoned flour and brown in hot oil. Add water and one onion. Simmer about 2 hours, adding more water if necessary. Make a thickening of 2 tablespoons of flour and 1/2 cup water and add to meat. Add curry powder mixed with 1/2 cup water. Add unsweetened coconut milk and continue simmering for about 10 minutes. Salt to taste. Serve over rice with small bowls of the following 12 condiments: chopped; onion, bananas, papaya, mango, coconut, hard boiled eggs, lettuce, cucumber, mango chutney, tomato, raisins and peanuts.
