No Fuss Creamy Tomato Soup

Homemade soup recipes are truly amazing, especially when you can find an easy recipe. This No Fuss Creamy Tomato Soup from Victoria at Easy Recipes with a Twist is super easy to make and loaded with creamy flavor. With the addition of beans, this recipe is really filling as well.


Follow along with how to make this soup in this video:



  • 1 can (28-ounce) tomatoes crushed or whole
  • 1 can (14-ounce) cannellini beans
  • 2 cups vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 scallion
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. On medium high heat bring to boil tomatoes, beans with all liquids, vegetable stock, olive oil, scallion, garlic cloves, chili, sugar, salt and pepper.

  2. Then pop the lid on and lower the heat to medium low. Let the soup simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Add basil and cream, warm them thru for 2 minutes and remove from the heat. Then blitz with hand or regular mixer and serve with fresh bread.
