Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

"Generally, you would pair this sauce with steak, but it’s perfectly fine to use it to liven up other cuts of beef, chicken or fish. I like to use it with a Dijon and herb rubbed rib roast, as well as with steak and other dishes. Chimichurri sauce is usually used for grilling meats, although it’s versatile enough to use as a marinade, seasoning or sauce with food you’re pan cooking, roasting or cooking with other methods."

Yields1 cup

Preparation Time5 min

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lightly packed fresh parsley
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup bone broth
  • 1/4 cup organic red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor, blend for about 30 seconds or until all ingredients are combined well.

  2. Pour the chimichurri sauce into an 8-oz mason jar. Cover and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
