Our area is lacking a P. F. Chang's, so I'm not sure how this recipe stacks up against the restaurant version. I do like Mongolian Beef, so this recipe has particular appeal for me. I'm glad the recipe includes the mention of baking soda in the marinade since that really helps to make the steak tender. We've developed a preference for basmati rice over plain white rice, so we'd use that as a bed for the beef.

Yum! This is an easy recipe. I love marinating. It makes the meat so tender and flavorful. The acidity in the marinade breaks up the meat fibers and acts as a tenderizer. For leftover sauce, I would use it over chicken or shrimp and not just rice. I might even use that marinade for the chicken or shrimp but only marinating for a few hours.
