Apple Nut Quick Bread


  • 4 c flour
  • 2 ts baking soda
  • 1 ts salt
  • 2 ts cinnamon
  • 2 c sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c sour cream
  • 2 ts vanilla
  • 2 c chopped apples
  • 1 c chopped nuts


Yield: 12 servings. Preheat oven to 350 deg F. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Set aside. Combine sugar, eggs, oil, sour cream and vanilla; beat well. Blend into flour mixture. Fold in apples and nuts. Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 1 hour or until loaves test done.
