Preparation Time10 min

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 package dry taco seasoing mix
  • 1 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 (15-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1/2 cup ranch-style dressing
  • 6 cups broken tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican or cheddar cheese

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onions, crumbling the meat with a spoon as it cooks. Drain the grease.

  2. Add the dry taco seasoning, corn, dressing, and salsa to the meat. Return the pan to the stove. Cook on medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, until the mixture is heated throughout and some of the liquid is reduced.
