I have used this same bain - marie method of gentle cooking when making custards and souffl before, but never tried it with a cheesecake - such a great tip! Sometimes a cheesecake can be a little too sweet for me, so the touch of saltiness from the peanut butter is a great balance. It might be fun to go even more nutty and use those Nutter Butter cookies for the crust in place of the oreos!

Does dessert get any better than this? I don't think so! Chocolate and peanut butter sound so perfect in this delicious cheesecake recipe.
