These look great. It's definitely pumpkin time around here and this would be a great little sweet treat to make. There's no law that says the pumpkin Danish have to be round. I'd make it easier on myself and just cut the puff pastry into squares and score the interior to make the border for the pumpkin filling. I think you could use a can of the pumpkin pie mix for the filling, but I like making my own since I can adjust the ingredients to my taste.

This is an interesting recipe! I was very excited when I saw "pumpkin Danish" although the image along with the picture didn't resemble a Danish in my opinion. Perhaps, a different name for the recipe would be beneficial! Despite that little bit of confusion, I like the recipe. It's simple and looks presentable. I feel like it could use a little dollop of a sweet cream cheese frosting in the center for an added color, flavor, and texture!
