The dough for these is not a traditional puff pastry dough (which can be very time consuming and quite difficult for a beginner) but it is a great tasty shortcut! I didn't have any chocolate chips in my pantry, but I had a container of prepared chocolate cake frosting, so I smeared some of that over the tops, and it was still really tasty! If you're bringing them to a potluck or party, I would double the recipe since they will go quick!

With a description like this from the baking chocolatess about these cream puffs how could I not try them? I think the kids are going to love these too. I anticipate that there are going to be fights over these cream puffs. They certainly do look heavenly and not too much trouble to make. I'm gonna give them a try.
