I love this easy Union Jack Cupcakes recipe and even though the Royal Wedding is over, I live in the UK and can think of other festivities that these can be made for. My question is, can you darken the blue frosting to a more royal blue, rather than the pale blue shown? And is the piping for the 'red' really as pink as it looks on the photo? I haven't worked with food coloring before, except to dye Easter Eggs, so I am not sure how that would work.

These cupcakes are AMAZING! I have been thinking of them for days after trying them! They are perfect for a Royal Wedding celebration!

So cute and perfect for the Royal Wedding!

YUMMMMMMMMMMM. Maybe I was just craving cake the day I tried these but wow they totally hit the spot.

So CUTE! Can't wait to try them. They'd be perfect for a royal wedding party

These cupcakes look like such fun to make. They are very festive and certainly are something to get excited about in anticipation of Prince Harry's wedding. I'm from British decent but do not live there so I am going to make these on the 19th May for a bit of patriotism!
