This is such an easy way to get dinner going right away. I never thought of mixing ranch and Italian together. I really never thought you could add brown gravy either, so this is definitely an experiment I am ready to take head on. It looks so beautiful in the picture that I have to try it!

Wow, what an easy way to get a roast cooking in the morning. I bet all of those flavors-Italian dressing, Ranch dressing, gravy, and au jus make a great combo! I would throw in potatoes and carrots and look forward to a great roast all day.I do wonder about cooking on high for eight hours. I think low for 8-10 would work better for me.

Sometimes I don't have fresh onions, celery, garlic, and sweet peppers on hand, so I keep these flavor packets in my pantry. I can take out a roast from my freezer the night before and in the morning dump it all into the slow cooker. It's also a lot less prep and clean up, too. You always have a sloppy mess of cooked aromatics to fish out of your slow cooker with the fresh veg.Sometimes you just have to take shortcuts, and this one tastes great!

Hi, GOOD-DAY! THis Sunday Roast" Would Be My Favorite Meal. Delicious Satisfying, tender slow cooker roast Recipe! CynthiaHarvin15@GMAIL.COM

I've used this recipe several times in the slow cooker but more often in the pressure cooker. In the pressure cooker a 3 lb chuck roast cooks in 70 min.

I've been wanting a pressure cooker for a long time. I've researched them and can't decide if an electric or stove top would be best for me. Big difference in price. If this recipe only takes 70 minutes to cook. doesn't it still take a long time to cool down before you can open the pressure cooker?
