- 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
- 1/4 cup Nutella
- 3 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Prepare two baking trays with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
With a rolling pin, roll out 1 sheet of puff pastry to about 12 x 24 inches and cut in half.
Spread one-half of the dough with 1/2 of the Nutella. Top with other half of the dough, sprinkle the top with cinnamon sugar. Using the rolling pin, gently press the layers together.
Slice into strips across the short side of the dough.
Twist each strip and place on a baking sheet, leaving space to expand.
Repeat with the second sheet of puff pastry dough.
Place in the refrigerator while preheating the oven to 400 degrees F.
Bake for 5 minutes, turn, bake an additional 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
