Aunt Karolyn There are tons of recipes out there for cake mix cookies and bars. They are fun to try and easy to make. I watch for cake mixes to go on sale for one dollar, and stock up on all flavors for recipes like these. If you have boxes of yellow and white cake mixes on hand, you can make some pretty amazing cookies! My son will love these. He loves Reeses!

Oh my gosh. Cake mix cookies. What will they think of next. I had to make these cookies just to see if it really could be done. The good news is, it can. No fuss, no muss, and in no time at all you have delicious chewy cookies. I'm like BeckySue when it comes to buying cake mix, but now I make sure I pick some up whenever I see it on sale. I can see myself getting adventurous and trying different flavors of cake and fillings. Great recipe.

I rarely bought boxed cake mixes before, not because I have anything against a box cake, but because we aren't cake eaters at my house! We like something more portable, like cookies! Now that I've discovered what an easy way to make a great soft cookie, boxed cake mixes are a staple in my pantry. I made these with milk chocolate instead of peanut butter chips.
