My sons are fans of teriyaki chicken as well as I am. Being able to make this is the slow cooker that seldom comes out of hiding is great. If it turns out well, this recipe with be a reason our slow cooker earns a home on the counter.

I like the recipe, but instead of buying the different sauces, I was thinking I could buy a good quality marinade or Teriyaki sauce and use that instead. Do you think it would still turn out? I want to make it a simple recipe that I can throw together without having to buy things I would not normally use.

This slow cooker teriyaki chicken looks amazing. Here I am surfing for a new recipe to prepare when I lucked across this one. I immediately did another search to locate mirin as we live in a rural area. Luckily I located a local store that sells it and guess what will be for dinner tonight?
