The spin on this meal is that it is a hybrid between green bean and tater tot casserole. In other words, it's two of the best comfort foods combined into one delicious Green Bean Tater Tot Casserole.

    Serve it with a big green salad and a loaf of French bread for an easy dinner that everyone will love. This meal also makes great leftovers, so you should still make it even if you don't have a crowd to feed.

    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    • 1 bag green beans, steamed
    • 1 can cream of celery soup
    • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 package frozen tater tots

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    2. Brown the ground beef and onion together in a skillet.

    3. Drain and pour on the bottom of large rectangular casserole dish.  

    4. Place green beans on top of the ground beef. 

    5. Combine soups and pour on top of the green beans.  

    6. Place the Tater Tots on top.

    7. Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 30-45 minutes.

    I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this casserole. The green bean and tot combination is a favorite of the whole family.

    This casserole had a bit too much onion for my taste, but overall, I think the flavors worked really well together. I can see myself making this on a cozy Sunday evening.
